CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Today Cabernet Sauvignon is the fourth largest and most popular wine variety in Istria, primarily because it produces such great quality wines on our soil. This famous French wine variety originates from crossbreeding Cabernet franc and Sauvignon white, probably during the 17th century.
It is one of the most famous red grapevine varieties in the world. Found in the majority of wine regions in the world, thanks to the popularity it has gained in Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon has a great ability to adapt to different cultivating conditions.
